Air Handling Systems Aluminum Blast Gates 3"-24" are constructed of aluminum castings with a galvanized steel slide blade. Blast Gates can be disassembled for cleaning. Blast Gates are used to balance the air going from one branch to another branch. When another machine is used for only part of the workday, you can close the Blast Gate and divert the air to another machine.14"-24" (even sizes) call for pricing and availability.

Half Blast Gates have the same construction and quality as the Full Blast Gate. Use Half Blast Gates when working with wood containing a lot of pitch (it prevents the pitch from clogging the slide track). Half Blast Gate is easily installed in existing ductwork by cutting a slot halfway around the duct and sliding the 20 Gauge blade into the opening, then pop riveting the casting to the outside of the duct.12"-18" call for pricing and availability.

Self-Cleaning Blast Gates are the same construction as Full Blast Gates except the galvanized steel blade pushes material like greenwood, or wood sap through the end of the Blast Gate casting. This allows the blade to close without jamming on compacted materials.

Blastgate Connector (BC) serves as an extension to facilitate installation of Flexhose to Blastgates. Connectors are three inches long, 22 gauge, and fit snugly over small end of Blastgate, Flexhose fits tightly over the other end. Pop rivet Connector to Blastgate and add hose clamp, for a long lasting easy installation. (Gate NOT inlcuded)
