Floorsweeps facilitate clean-up when located near a machine where sufficient dust collection is difficult. At the end of the day, simply sweep dust into the Floor Sweep. Do not figure in any CFM requirements for Floor Sweep when sizing pipe, as it is not operating, when machines are running. A full Blastgate should be installed on all Floor Sweep drops to totally close off air leakage through door opening. Floorsweeps are intend to be used on a two-stage dust collector system.
Doors have been removed and blast gate is required to control airflow.
